That jump shattered the existing school record of 6.13 meters set by Melinda Jackson at the 2000 UTA Invitational ... Qualified for the NCAA Regional Championships in the triple jump with a mark of 12.39 meters at the Big 12 Championships, where she placed 11th ... Her 12.07 meter jump at the regional meet placed her 23rd ... Jumped a wind-aided 12.49 meters at the Tulsa Invitational earlier in the season, but that mark did not count as an NCAA regional qualifier due to the wind ... Jumped 11.12 meters at the NCAA regional meet ... Surpassed the 12-meter mark at the Sooner Open, where she turned in a mark of 12.05 meters ... Also competed in the long jump and the 200 meters, posting season bests of 5.64 meters in the long jump at the John Jacobs Invitational and 26.74 in the 200 meters at the Tulsa Invitational.
2008 Indoors: Focused on her jumping during the indoor season, posting a season-best mark of 5.22 meters in the long jump at the Sooner Invitational ... Her triple jump of 11.88 meters at the J.D. Martin Invitational set a season best ... Also ran as part of the OSU distance medley relay squad.
