OSU Tennis Set for Doubleheader

STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oklahoma State men's and women's tennis teams both take the court Friday in double-header action at the DeBois Tennis Complex in Stillwater.
Fans in attendance will be provided with free pizza and drinks at noon. Attendance is free at all home Cowboy and Cowgirl tennis matches.
The men compete first at 11 a.m. against Nebraska. The Cowboys are led by 77th-ranked singles player Maniel Bains and two strong doubles pairings of No. 20 Aleksey Bessonov and Rifat Biktyakov and the No. 54 duo of Bains and Eric West.
The Cowboys (5-10, 0-4 Big 12) are coming off of back-to-back wins, including a 5-2 win against Abilene Christian on April 9 and a dominant 6-1 rout of Seminole State on April 12.
No. 38 Nebraska (14-8, 0-2 Big 12) features the No. 75 singles player, Christopher Aumueller and also has the No. 47 doubles pairing of Aumueller and Benedikt Lindheim. The Huskers lost their past two matches, 7-0 to Baylor on April 2, and 6-1 to Texas A&M on April 10.
The women will follow with a match against Kansas set to start at 3 p.m. The Cowgirls (6-13, 2-6 Big 12) have lost their last three matches to ranked Big 12 opponents Missouri, Texas and Texas A&M. OSU freshman Kanyapat Narattana leads the Big 12 standings at the No .5 spot with her 7-1 record, while sophomore Malika Rose boasts the best dual record on the squad with her 14-4 mark.
The Jayhawks (9-9, 3-5 Big 12) won their past two matches, including a 4-3 win over Missouri April 8 and a 6-1 victory against Colorado April 10.
Both teams will be back in action for Sunday as the women take on Kansas State in Stillwater at noon and the men tak on Baylor in Waco, Texas. Free pizza and drinks will also be provided at Sunday's match against the Wildcats.
