Stillwater, Okla. — Oklahoma State's Cowboy Basketball team will play its second-straight in-state opponent as OSU hosts the Langston Lions on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 5 pm inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. The Pokes are coming off a 59-56 win over Tulsa on Wednesday night.
The Cowboys and Lions have played just one regular-season game in school history on the hardwood despite being located just 20 miles apart. OSU defeated Langston 125-65 on Jan. 3, 2000.
These two teams also played an exhibition game in November of 2008, Coach Travis Ford's first as the Cowboy head coach. The Pokes prevailed, 113-65 as freshman Keiton Page scored 10 points and dished out four assists off the bench.
Tickets are available for Sunday's matchup for as little as $10 on the Oklahoma State Ticket Office website at <www.okstate.com/tickets>.
