STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- Jean-Paul Olukemi scored 29 points, leading four double-figure scorers for Oklahoma State in a 96-87 overtime victory over Iowa State on Wednesday night.
Olukemi hit 12 of 12 from the foul line, and his three-point play in the final minute helped the Cowboys force overtime.
Keiton Page, who scored 19 points, hit the game-tying 3-pointer with 23 seconds left. Marshall Moses had 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Roger Franklin scored 13 points off the bench for the Cowboys (14-4, 2-2 Big 12).
Diante Garrett led the Cyclones (14-5, 1-3) with 25 points. Jamie Vanderbeeken hit 6 of 9 from 3-point territory and scored 20. Jake Anderson added 17 and Bubu Palo 11.
Iowa State hit 13 of 33 3-pointers.
Oklahoma State trailed 76-72 when Olukemi's three-point play cut the lead to one with 40 seconds to play. After a pair of Iowa State free throws, Page drained a 3-pointer from the top of the key to tie the game with 23 seconds left. Page then took a charging foul on Garrett but missed a potential game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer.
The Cowboys went up four quickly in overtime only to see Iowa State rally to tie it at 84 with 2:30 to play. But Olukemi and Franklin teamed for a steal that Franklin finished with a dunk. An offensive rebound and put-back by Markel Brown gave the Cowboys an 88-84 lead with 32 seconds remaining.
A late technical on Iowa State helped push the margin to eight at the 20-second mark. OSU outscored the Cyclones 18-9 in overtime.
It was Iowa State's 16th consecutive loss in Stillwater.
Vanderbeeken, who hit 7 of 8 from 3-point range against Baylor on Saturday, sparked the Cyclones late in the first half and early in the second.
Over a 10-minute span from 4 minutes remaining in the first half to 14 minutes left in the game, Iowa State outscored Oklahoma State 27-12, highlighted by seven 3-pointers.
Vanderbeeken opened the second half with two 3-pointers. Garrett and Palo added one apiece to help the Cyclones build a 52-42 lead with 15 minutes to play.
But the Cowboys responded with an 8-1 run to draw within 53-50 with 12:20 remaining.
Garrett's 3-pointer pushed the lead back to eight, but the Cowboys responded, getting a pair of layups in transition and a 3-pointer from Page to cut the deficit to 62-59 with 9:25 left.
The Cyclones again seemed to take control, getting a runner in the lane by Garrett and a 3-pointer by Vanderbeeken for a nine-point lead with just over 3 minutes remaining.
A left-handed hook in the lane by Moses and a three-point play by Franklin brought Oklahoma State to 74-70 before Olukemi and Page provided the final dramatics to force overtime.
Oklahoma State, coming off back-to-back road losses, outrebounded Iowa State 46-35, grabbing 21 offensive boards.
