Cowgirls In 16th At Mason Rudolph

FRANKLIN, Tenn. - Oklahoma State's women's golf team posted a 300 during its second round to fall into 16th place at the Mason Rudolph Women's Championship at Vanderbilt's Legends Club.
The Cowgirls will enter their final round with a 17-over total of 593 and one shot behind Stanford and North Carolina. LSU leads the event at 560, which is one shot clear of Purdue at the par-72, 6,281-yard layout.
Pia Halbig of California joined first-round leader Michelle Shin of Wake Forest atop the individual leaderboard. Shin posted a 70, while Halbig carded a 67 to join her at 9-under 135.
OSU sophomore Victoria Park moved into the top 10, firing a 1-under 71 to come in at 141 and tied for 10th. Starting on the back nine, the Irvine, Calif., native parred her first eight holes of the day before carding her first birdie at the par-5 18th. Park moved back to even par with a bogey at the fifth before closing her day with a birdie a the ninth move back under par. After opening with a career-best 69, sophomore Courtney McKim posted a 74 on Saturday to come in at 143 and tied for 29th.
A pair of players, junior Jocelyn Alford and sophomore Hillary Wood, will enter tomorrow's final round tied for 77th at 155. Alford posted a 79, while Wood carded a 76 during her second round.
Freshman Josephine Janson's 81 tied her for 88th at 159.
The Cowgirls will begin their final round at 9:03 a.m. (CST) and will be paired with College of Charleston.
