Cowboys Wrap Up Play at Indoor Championships

FLUSHING, N.Y. - Oklahoma State men's tennis athletes Aleksey Bessonov and Rifat Biktyakov wrapped up consolation doubles play at the USTA/ITA Indoor Intercollegiate Championships Saturday, falling to UCLA's Amit Inbar and Nick Meister, 8-4, at the USTA-Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
The Cowboy duo finished with a 1-2 record at the event, falling to Mississippi's Chris Thiemann and Marcel Thiemann in the opening round of the main draw and knocking off Kentucky's Brad Cox and Eric Quigley in Friday's consolation play.
The loss concludes the Cowboys' fall tennis schedule. OSU resumes action for the spring slate in 2011.
