Personal: Son of Andrey and Yulia Bessonov ... has one brother, Mikolay (18) ... majoring in Russian ... enjoys listening to music and watching movies.

Coach Wadley on Bessonov:
“Aleksey has a lot of international experience. He has really jumped into the fire since he arrived here. He has already upset some good tennis players. He will be a fixture for us in the top three of the lineup. We expect a good year from this young man.”
