PUERTO PENASCO, Mexico ÂOklahoma State's women's golf team will get its spring schedule underway on Sunday when it begins play at the Wildcat Invitational.
The Cowgirls, who won the event last season in Tucson, Ariz., will look to repeat this year at the Peninsula Golf Club in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. The event will be contested on the par-72, 6,146-yard Nicklaus Legacy Course, which is part of the Mayan Palace Resort.

The Cowgirl lineup will consist of seniors Amanda Johnson, Karin Kinnerud and Pernilla Lindberg as well as freshmen Caroline Hedwall and Caroline Masson. Hedwall is currently the top-ranked individual for OSU, checking in at No. 17. Lindberg is among the top 25 as well, ranking 22nd.
This year's tournament will consist of 54 holes with 18 holes being over three days, concluding with Tuesday's final round. Play will begin every day at 8 a.m. with tee times starting on the Nos. 1 and 10 tees.
