Postgame Notes vs. Nebraska
Saturday, March 1, 2008
With a win over Nebraska, Oklahoma State has now won five-straight games over Big 12 Conference opponents for the first time since 2004-05 when OSU won six-consecutive league games.
Junior guard Byron Eaton is shooting 75 percent (12 of 16) from beyond the three-point arc over the last five games. He was 2-of-2 today.
With four assists against the Huskers, Eaton now has 321 in his career. That moves him past Bill Self (319 assists) and Chianti Roberts (320) and into 12th place on the all-time career assists list.
With two steals against Nebraska, senior forward Marcus Dove now has 131 in his career. He moved past Melvin Sanders and into 17th place on the career steals list.
The Cowboys are 6-0 this season when shooting 50 percent or better from the floor. It was just the third win vs. 11 losses in the Sean Sutton era when allowing the opponent to shoot 50 percent or better.
