Cowgirls Continue Strong Play At World Amateur Team Championship

ADELAIDE, Australia. Oklahoma State's three representatives were back in action on Thursday during the second round of the Women's World Amateur Team Championship at The Grange Golf Club in Adelaide, Australia.
The Swedish duo of Caroline Hedwall and Pernilla Lindberg have helped stake the Swedes to an eight-shot lead over Spain at the event's halfway point. Through 36 holes, the Swedes stand at 275, 15-under.
Hedwall followed up her first-round 67 with a 70 for an 8-under 137 total. The OSU freshman is one shot ahead of teammate Anna Nordqvist in the individual race.
Lindberg posted her second consecutive 72 and is tied for sixth at 1-under 144.
Cowgirl freshman Caroline Masson is competing for the German team and is tied for 24th place at 149 after posting a 74 during her second round. Germany is tied for 10th place in the team standings
