Nedovyesov Advances to All-American Championship Match

TULSA, Okla. Â– No. 1 Oleksandr Nedovyesov stormed through the quarterfinals and semifinals of the 2008 D'Nova Men's All-American Championship to advance to Sunday's finals match.

The junior from Alushta, Ukraine, dominated #16 Conor Pollock of Texas A&M in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3 before facing the fifth ranked Robert Farah in the semifinal round. Nedovyesov handed Farah a 6-2, 6-1 defeat on his way to the final match.

Nedovyesov will face LSU's Michael Venus, who, as an unranked player, has stormed through the bracket beating the number four ranked player in the country. The two will square off for the championship Sunday at 10 a.m.
