Cowgirls Advance to Match Play at Ladies? British Open Amateur

Lindberg carded a 73 during Wednesday's second round and combined with a 75 during the first round, she tied for 17th place. She birdied hole No. 2 and was still one-under at the turn. after two bogeys and a double, Lindberg birdied two of the last three holes for her one-over score.
Kinnerud carded three birdies en route to a five-over 77. Following a two-over 74 during the first round, her two-day total of 151 tied her for 36th place individually. During the two-day stroke play format, Kinnerud had five birdies on the par-5 holes.
Cowgirl coach Laura Matthews finished the two-day stroke play portion of the tournament with a 163 and failed to advance to match play.
The first and second rounds of match play for the Cowgirl juniors-to-be will be played on Thursday. The third round and quarterfinals will be played on Friday, while the semifinals and championship finals will take place on Saturday.
