Oklahoma State Hosts "Homecoming & Hoops?

The events of the weekend will begin on Friday afternoon as the nationally ranked Cowgirl soccer team hosts Oral Roberts at 5 p.m. at the Cowgirl Soccer Complex. Following the game, fans are encouraged to participate in the “WalkAround”, the annual stroll around the campus fraternity and sorority houses that have been decorated for Homecoming.
At 9:30 p.m., the OSU Athletics Department and OSU Homecoming Committee will host a pep rally inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. Head coach Mike Gundy and members of the Cowboy football team will be in attendance to get the rally started.
The event will include a preview of the Cowboy and Cowgirl Basketball squads as they perform a midnight-madness type practice session.
On the slate for the spirit rally are a three-point shooting contest and scrimmages of both the women's and men's basketball teams. New this year is a “Dancing with the Stars” contest involving members of the Cowboy and Cowgirl Basketball teams, the Greek Life community and the Cowboy Marching Band.
Doors to Gallagher-Iba Arena open at 8:30 p.m. Admission to “Homecoming & Hoops” is free.
