Oklahoma State's women's golf team will play the third of its five fall tournaments this weekend when it travels to Chapel Hill, N.C. to compete in the Tar Heel Invitational.
The event will consist of 54 holes over three days with 18 holes being played each day. The 18-team field will begin play Friday at 9 a.m. (EST) on UNC's Finley Golf Course.
The Cowgirls, who are ranked eighth in the latest Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index, finished 11th in the event last year.
OSU will once again be led by junior Pernilla Lindberg, who brings a No. 7 ranking into the weekend. The Bollnäs, Sweden native will be looking to extend her string of top-10 finishes to three after finishing third and eighth in her first two starts of the season.
Joining the first-team All-American in the lineup will be sophomore Sarah Bradley, senior Tammy Clelland, junior Amanda Johnson and junior Karin Kinnerud.
