Cowgirl Golf Slips Into Sixth Place At Las Vegas Collegiate

Oklahoma State's women's golf team carded a 10-over 298 team score during the second round of the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown at Angel Park Golf Club to slip one spot into sixth place.
The Cowgirls were able to remain near the top five despite only having four players after sophomore Sarah Bradley withdrew due to illness. OSU has a 36-hole total of 590, which is 20 shots off the pace of first-place Denver.
Senior Tammy Clelland moved from third into a tie for sixth at 143 after posting a 75. Her 1-under total is seven shots behind tournament leader Katie Kempter of Denver.
Junior Amanda Johnson climbed the leaderboard after a 73 on Tuesday moved her to 148 and a tie for 25th place. Fellow junior Karin Kinnerud also moved up, jumping 13 spots into a tie for 28th at 149 after posting a 74 on Tuesday.
Junior Pernilla Lindberg stands at 150 after a round of 76 dropped her into a tie for 37th place.
The Cowgirls will start tomorrow's final round tomorrow at 8 a.m. and will be paired with Kent State and Pepperdine.
