Cowgirl Golfers move up three spots to third place

Junior Candie Herrera carded a one-under-par 70 and moved up to a tie for seventh place individually, pacing the Cowgirls. Freshman Pernilla Lindberg, who was in fourth place after the first round, dropped six spots to 10th with a 77.
Freshman Karin Kinnerud is tied for 26th with a two-round total of 153, one stroke better than senior Jennifer Karr, who is tied for 31st with a 154. Junior Mallorie Underwood, who was in 15th place on Monday, dropped to 43rd and has a two-day total of 156.
USC is in first place with a 591, while Arizona State is one stroke back at 592. California (603) and Wake Forest (604) round out the top-five teams.
The tournament will conclude on Wednesday with a final round of 18 holes.
