Sutton visits with team, continues to recover

Oklahoma State University head basketball coach Eddie Sutton addressed his players and coaches by phone Sunday, telling them how much he appreciated their concern and how much he appreciated them.

In addressing Saturday's tough loss at Texas A&M, he told the team he was proud of their intensity on defense and the fact they put themselves in a position to win in a hostile environment.

He encouraged them to keep working hard on their studies and on their basketball. He told them he missed them and loved them, and “to beat the Jayhawks”.

Sutton continues to rest comfortably at home where he is recovering from an automobile accident on Friday. He plans to rejoin the team as soon as his health will allow.
