Cowgirls Remain In First Place at Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown

The Cowgirls began the day tied atop the leaderboard with Arizona State, but built a nine-shot cushion after posting the lone score below par during the second round. After 36 holes, OSU is the only team in red figures with its 4-under 572 total.
Individually, three Cowgirls will begin tomorrow's final round in the top 10 and within five shots of the lead.
Freshman Sarah Bradley followed up her opening 69 with an even-par 72 to come in tied for third and just two shots off the pace of Texas A&M's Ashley Knoll for the individual lead.
Sophomore Pernilla Lindberg carded a a 3-under 69 on the day after a round that included three birdies and an eagle to stand alone in fifth place at 143. Fellow sophomore Karin Kinnerud blistered the front nine with five birdies to go out in 32 before finishing with a 69 of her own to come in tied for sixth place at even-par 144.
Senior Mallorie Underwood finished in the group tied for 38th place at 150 after posting a 76, while senior Candie Herrera bounced back from an 81 on Monday with a 2-under 70 to move into a tie for 44th place at 151.
