Cowgirl Golfers in 15th place at Lady Tar Heel Invitational

Sophomore Karin Kinnerud is tied for 11th place after shooting a three-over-par 75 during the initial round. She is just three strokes back of individual leader Jennie Lee of Duke, who finished with an even-par 72.
Tennessee is in second place, one stroke behind the Commodores at 302. Duke and Viriginia are tied for third at 303, while North Carolina rounds out the top-five teams with a 304.
Freshman Sarah Bradley, a native of New Zealand, shot a 79 in her first tournament as a Cowgirl and is tied for 47th place. Sophomore Pernilla Lindberg is tied for 58th with an 80, while sophomore Amanda Johnson shot an 83 and senior Mallorie Underwood carded an 85.
The tournament will continue on Saturday with another round of 18 holes and conclude on Sunday with a final round of 18.
