OSU, the defending Big 12 Champion, will compete against some of the top-ranked teams in the country. Included in the field will be UCLA, the top-ranked team in the Golfweek Preseason top 30, as well as No. 2 Duke, the defending NCAA Champion. Other ranked teams include fourth-ranked Georgia, No. 5 Auburn, seventh-ranked Arizona State and No. 9 Florida.
Other teams scheduled to compete include Arizona, Arkansas, Furman, Missouri, Texas, Tulane, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest.
Oklahoma State will travel five team members to the tournament, including three newcomers. Juniors Mallorie Underwood and Candie Herrera are both two-year returning starters that have finished second at the NCAA Championships in 2004 and eighth at nationals last year.
Pernilla Lindberg and Karin Kinnerud, both freshmen from Sweden, and Amanda Johnson, a freshman from Jenks, Okla., and the Class 6A state champion a year ago, will join the duo of returners.
