Cowgirl Golfers to compete in Tar Heel Invitational

Oklahoma State's Cowgirl Golf team will return to action this weekend as OSU travels to Chapel Hill, N.C., to compete in the 2005 Lady Tar Heel Invitational.

The 54-hole tournament will take place over a three-day span on the par 72, 6,285-yard UNC Finley Golf Course. Other teams competing in the Invitational include Auburn, Duke, Florida State, Kentucky, LSU, North Carolina, NC State, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, Tulsa, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Wake Forest.

Oklahoma State's starting five will consist of senior Jennifer Karr, juniors Mallorie Underwood and Ali Griffin, and freshmen Karin Kinnerud and Amanda Johnson.
