Cowgirl Golfers Open Spring Season in California

The tournament will showcase many of the nation's elite women's golf teams. Twelve of the 15 teams entered in the field are ranked in the latest Golfweek Top 25 poll, and 14 of the teams competed in last year's NCAA Championships.
The field consists of No. 2 UCLA, third-ranked Arizona, No. 5 California, sixth-ranked New Mexico, No. 7 Georgia, eighth-ranked OSU, ninth-ranked Florida, No. 11 Ohio State, 13th-ranked USC, No. 16 Texas, 17th-ranked Tulsa, No. 21 Pepperdine, 29th-ranked South Carolina, No. 33 Stanford, and 42nd-ranked Arizona State.
The tournament will be played at the par-71, 5,912-yard Palos Verdes Golf Club. Play will begin at 11 a.m. CST on Monday, Feb. 9, and results will be available live on-line at www.golfstat.com.
