Cowgirls finish second at Dick McGuire Invitational

Cowgirl sophomore Karin Sjödin finished second after being tied for the individual lead following two rounds. Sjödin shot a 77 during the third round, finishing behind UNM's Kailin Downs.
Oklahoma State had two other golfers finish in the top-20. Junior Annie Thurman finished with a 224, good enough for 13th place, while freshman Mallory Underwood finished 16th after three identical 75s this weekend, finishing at 225. Jenny Karr finished just outside the top 20 with a 23rd-place finish, while freshman Ashley Knoll finished 29th with a 230.
The Cowgirls will return to action on Oct. 3, as OSU competes in the Tar Heel Invitational in Chapel Hill, N.C.
