Cowgirls' Sjodin moves into first place at Dick McGuire Invitational

As a team, the Cowgirls are in second place and trail host-school New Mexico by nine strokes. UNM's Kailin Downs is tied with Sjödin for first place. Cowgirl junior Annie Thurman is tied for ninth at 147 after carding a four-under 69 during Friday's round.
OSU freshman Mallory Underwood is tied for 23rd place after equaling Thursday's score with a 75, while junior Jenny Karr is tied for 33rd place after carding a 77. Freshman Ashley Knoll rebounded from yesterday's 80 and shot a one-over 74, tying for 38th place. Cowgirl freshman Candie Herrera is sitting at 157 playing as an individual.
The tournament will conclude on Saturday with a final round of 18 holes.
