Cowgirls In Fourth Place After Second Round Of Regional Challenge

The Cowgirls shot a 313 and sit at 607 after two rounds, just nine strokes back of Pepperdine (598). USC is in second place at 603, while top-ranked Arizona shot the best round of the day and moved up to third place at 606. UCLA rounds out the top-five scores at 608.
Individually, Katherine Hull of Pepperdine is in first place with a two-day score of two-over-par 144. Cowgirl senior Linda Wessberg shot a 79, but remains in a tie for fifth place, while freshman Karin Sjödin is tied for ninth with a two-day score of 150.
OSU sophomore Annie Thurman carded a 79 during the second round, and is tied for 18th with a 153. Fellow sophomore Jenny Karr shot a 78 and is tied for 28th at 155. Senior Christi Cano struggled on Tuesday, recording an 86 and currently at 163 with a two-day score.
The tournament concludes on Wednesday with a final round of 18 holes.
