Cowgirl Soccer Earns NSCAA Team Academic Award

Oklahoma State's soccer team earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic Award, it was announced this week. The award recognizes teams that have had success not only on the field, but in the classroom as well.
Nationwide 213 women's programs earned the accolade by achieving a 3.0 GPA or higher during the 2001-02 academic year.
The Cowgirls posted a 3.04 team GPA and were one of three Big 12 schools to receive the distinction. Other conference teams earning the honor were Nebraska and Texas Tech.
The awards will be presented at the College Coaches Luncheon Thursday, Jan. 16, during the 2003 NSCAA Convention in Kansas City, Mo
