Cowgirl Golfers Maintain Lead At NCAA Fall Preview

Oklahoma State, which held a two stroke lead over Vanderbilt after the first round, lost a stroke to the Commodores, holding a narrow one-stroke lead. Arizona and Duke are tied for third, three strokes back of the Cowgirls, while Texas is four strokes back and in fifth place.
Freshman Cowgirl Karin Sjödin, who shot an opening-round 68, had three bogeys and two double bogeys and finished with a six-over 78. She dropped from the top spot down to a tie for fifth place. Thurman and senior Christi Cano are tied for 13th place with a five-over 149, and senior Linda Wessberg is in 36th place with a 153. Sophomore Jenny Karr shot a 78 during Monday's round and has a 158 after two days.
The tournament will conclude on Tuesday with a final round of 18 holes.
