Cowgirl Golfers to compete in Mercedes-Benz Women's Collegiate

Oklahoma State's eighth-ranked women's golf team travels to Knoxville, Tenn., this weekend to compete in the Mercedes-Benz Women's Collegiate Championships.
The Cowgirls are one of eight teams competing in the tournament which is ranked in the top-25 nationally. Other top-25 squads invited to the tournament are seventh-ranked Georgia, No. 12 Michigan State, 13th-ranked Ohio State, No. 20 Tennessee, 21st-ranked Tulane, No. 23 South Carolina and 24th-ranked Kent State.
Other teams competing are Northwestern, Purdue, Virginia, LSU, Arkansas, UNLV, Penn State and the Swedish Junior National Team.
The tournament, played on the Fox Den Country Club Golf Course in Knoxville, begins on Sunday morning with an opening round of 18 holes. The tournament will continue on Monday with another round of 18, and conclude on Tuesday with a final round of 18 holes.
