OSU AT REGIONALS
Although OSU has not fared well since regional competition began in 1993, OSU has had three top-10 finishes, advancing as a team to Nationals all three times, including twice in the last three years. Here is a look at OSU's finishes at the NCAA Regional Championships, including score, strokes behind the champion and strokes behind from qualifying. OSU lost a two-hole playoff with Washington in 1997, failing to qualify for nationals.
OSU VERSUS THE FIELD
Oklahoma State is 34-10-1 overall vs. the Central Regional opponents, good for an 76.7 winning percentage. The Cowgirls' only losses have been to Tulsa (3 wins-2 losses-1 tie), Ohio State (2-3), Texas (5-3), Michigan State (0-1) and Oklahoma (3-1). OSU is 21-0 vs. the rest of the competition at East Lansing. Only Ohio State and Michigan State have a winning record vs. Oklahoma State. OSU is 124-31-1 overall (.798 winning percentage) this season. A fourth-place finish at the Central Regional would push the Cowgirls' win-loss record over 80 percent.
COWGIRLS EARN HONORS
Oklahoma State's Emma Zackrisson, Christi Cano and Linda Wessberg were all named first-team All-Big 12 in a vote of the league coaches. It is the first time in the conference's six-year history that three golfers from the same school have made the first team. Zackrisson and Cano were both named to the Big 12 Championships all-tournament team for placing in the top-10 individually. Finally, Zackrisson earned medalist honors at the Big 12 Women's Golf Championships by one stroke over Kansas State's Christine Boucher. Both Zackrisson and Wessberg were named first-team Academic All-Big 12 as well.
COWGIRLS RANK HIGH IN BIG 12
