Zackrisson, Olszewska Earn Academic Honors

Stillwater, Okla. - Oklahoma State senior golfer Emma Zackrisson was one of 11 student-athletes named to the Verizon Academic All-District VI University Division Women's At-Large team for 2002, it was announced today. Dominika Olszewska, a senior on the Cowgirl tennis team, earned second-team All-District VI honors.
Zackrisson, who has attained a 3.882 grade point average in journalism and broadcasting, leads the Cowgirls with a 75.11 strokes per round average. She was the individual medalist at the Big 12 Championships, and leads the Cowgirls on their quest for a national championship next week in Auburn, Wash.
Olszewska, who has attained a 3.968 GPA while majoring in physical education, was 9-14 this season at No. 1 singles for the Cowgirls and 14-11 playing on the No. 3 doubles team. The Cowgirl tennis squad has completed its season.
