Two Cowgirls Earn Academic All-Big 12 Honors

Stillwater, Okla. - Senior golfers Emma Zackrisson and junior Linda Wessberg were both named to the Academic All-Big 12 first team, it was announced today, by the conference office.

Zackrisson, majoring in journalism and broadcasting, was awarded the honor for the fourth-straight year. Wessberg, majoring in general business, was named for the first time in her Cowgirl career.

Both Zackrisson and Wessberg, as well as the rest of the Cowgirls, will travel to Manhattan, Kan., this week for defense of their Big 12 Championship won a year ago. The tournament will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Colbert Hills Golf Course.
