Oklahoma State's eighth-ranked women's golf team is in first place of the Dr. Donnis Thompson Rainbow Wahine Invitational, leading second-place Tennessee by six strokes after two rounds here Tuesday. Cowgirl senior Emma Zackrisson is tied for the individual lead with a six-over-par 150.
Juniors Christi Cano and Linda Wessberg are tied for fifth with Oklahoma's Jennifer Tannehill, with all three shooting 153s. Freshman Annie Thurman is tied for 20th with a 159, while fellow freshman Lisa Jean is tied for 25th with a 160.
OSU sits atop the leaderboard with a 609, followed by Tennessee (615) and Oklahoma (619). TCU is in fourth place at 621, and Kent State rounds out the top five with a 637.
The tournament will conclude on Wednesday with a final round of 18 holes.
