Cowgirls Enter Final Round In Seventh Place

SALINAS, Calif. - Oklahoma State's women's golf team shot a second-round score of 301 at the Spartan Invitational on Tuesday to stand in sole posession of seventh place.
The Cowgirls shot a team score of 299 yesterday and will enter play tomorrow 23 strokes behind the tournament leader, Arizona State.
Maria Boden fired a one-under-par 71 to move into a tie for 10th place with 18 holes to play. The senior from Harnosand, Sweden has a two-day total of 146,placing her seven shots out of the lead.
Sophomore Linda Wessberg turned in her second consecutive 74 to finish the day tied for 16th place, while Christi Cano's two-day total of 151 puts her in a tie for 25th place.
Emma Zackrisson and Julie Jacques recorded eight-over-par scores of 80 to finish the day in ties for the 38th and 49th spots, respectively.
The Cowgirls will conclude play at the Corral de Tierra Country Club tomorrow.
