Cowgirls Golf In Eighth Place After Two Rounds

PALOS VERDES ESTATES, Calif. - Oklahoma State's 20th-ranked Cowgirl golf team is in eighth place after two rounds of the TRW Regional Challenge here Tuesday afternoon, led by senior Maria Boden's 24th place ranking.
Second-ranked Arizona leads the team standings with a two-day total of 582. New Mexico State, ranked 12th in the latest poll, is in second, 11 strokes behind UA. Tulsa is in third, Texas is fourth and USC rounds out the top five.
Arizona's Natalie Gulbis sits atop the individual rankings with a one-under-par 141. Teammate Lorena Ochoa is in second with a one-over 143.
Boden shot 77-75 for a 10-over 152. Other Oklahoma State golfers are Emma Zackrisson and Linda Wessberg, both tied for 34th with a 154, Christi Cano, tied for 47th with a 156, and JoAnn Heller, tied for 75th with a 163.
The tournament will conclude with a final round of 18 holes on Wednesday. The shotgun start will begin at 8 a.m.
