Cowgirl Boden Ranked Preseason No. 4

STILLWATER, Okla. - Cowgirl senior golfer Maria Boden, the two-time Big 12 Golfer of the Year and two-time All-America selection, is ranked fourth in the nation, according to the College Golf Foundation poll released Wednesday morning. The Cowgirls as a team are ranked 17th in the preseason poll.
Candie Kung of USC is the top individual vote getter with 313 points, ahead of Arizona's Cristina Baena with 296 points. Tulsa's Stacy Prammanasudh received 275 points, just two ahead of Boden's 273. Stephanie Keever of Stanford rounded out the top five with 262 points.
Defending-champion Arizona is the top-ranked team in the country, followed by Stanford, Duke, USC and Auburn. Tulsa is ranked sixth, and Texas is ranked seventh. San Jose State, Georgia and LSU round out the top 10.
Oklahoma State opens the season on Sept. 21 as the Cowgirls compete in the Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M.
