Cowgirl Golf Finishes 12th At Dick McGuire Invitational

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.-- Oklahoma State's 17th-ranked women's golf team finished 12th here at the Comcast/Dick McGuire Invitational, which concluded Saturday. Senior Maria Boden finished sixth individually, the 21st top-10 finish of her career.
With the top-two individual finishers, the Arizona Wildcats won the team championship. UA's Lorena Ochoa won the individual title by seven strokes over teammate Cristina Baena, who shot even-par. Ochoa shot a seven-under 212.
Cowgirl sophomore Linda Wessberg finished tied for 25th, while junior Emma Zackrisson made a run and finished tied for 36th.
Oklahoma State will next compete in the Big 12 Fall Preview, Oct. 2-3, in Waco, Texas.
