Boden Second At NCAA Championships

SUNRIVER, Ore. - Oklahoma State junior Maria Boden is in second place after the first round of the NCAA Championships here Wednesday afternoon, one stroke behind Tulsa's Stacy Prammanasudh. Boden shot a two-under-par 70 for the day.
Boden shot 36 on the front nine before carding a 34 on the back. Prammanasudh shot a 34 on the front and 35 on the back nine. Danielle Downey of Auburn and Georgia's Angela Jerman were the only other golfers to shoot under par, with both recording a one-under 71. It was Boden's 11th sub-par round of the season.
Oregon leads the team race with a seven-over-par 295, followed by the duo of Texas and Georgia at 296. Tulsa is in 16th with a 307, while Oklahoma is tied for 17th at 308.
The tournament will continue on Thursday with another round of 18 holes, as well as single rounds on Friday and concluding on Saturday.
