Women's Golf Finishes Fourth At Rainbow Wahine Invitational

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's 10th-ranked golf team finished fourth at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Rainbow Wahine Invitational here Thursday afternoon, shooting a team-best 301 in the final round. Cowgirl junior Maria Bod?n finished fifth with a three-round total of 224.
Arizona won the team championship with a three-round total of 883, outdistancing second-place Pepperdine by two strokes. The Waves had led the tournament the first two rounds. USC finished third with an 897, while OSU finished at 922.
The Wildcats' Cristina Baena won the individual title in a two-hole playoff with teammate Jenna Daniels. Both finished with a 213. OSU freshman Christi Cano finished 14th with a 229, while fellow freshman Linda Wessberg finished 19th with a 231. Sophomore Emma Zackrisson finished 40th with a 242, and senior Natasha Rowe finished 44th with a 243.
Oklahoma State will next compete in the BYU/Utah-Dixie Classic, April 3-4, in St. George, Utah.
