STILLWATER, Okla. -- Quarterback Aso Pogi ran for four touchdowns as Oklahoma State broke a seven-game losing streak by beating Baylor 50-22 Saturday, giving the Bears their 21st straight Big 12 Conference loss.
Pogi completed 14 of 18 passes and scored on runs of 6 and 5 yards, and twice went over from the 1 for the Cowboys (3-7, 1-7). The Bears (2-9, 0-8) couldn't overcome a series of early turnovers or an Oklahoma State defense that allowed only 66 yards rushing.
Reggie White had 78 yards of Oklahoma State's 240 yards rushing.
Oklahoma State's defense kept the Cowboys in position to score throughout the first half.
Bears freahman quarterback Josh Zachry was sacked in the first seconds and fumbled for a 19-yard loss that put the Cowboys on Baylor's 1-yard line. Pogi followed with an easy touchdown dive.
Baylor's first four possessions ended in turnovers and set up Oklahoma State scoring drives each time. The Bears didn't reach Cowboys territory until midway through the second quarter.
Zachry, the fifth different quarterback this season for the Bears, hit Reggie Newhouse with a 9-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter and threw a 20-yard scoring pass to Robert Quiroga midway through the fourth. Zachry was 17 for 35 for 227 yards, but was intercepted three times.
It was Oklahoma State's biggest margin of victory since beating Kansas last season 45-13, and came a week after the Cowboys lost 58-0 to Texas Tech.
