Cowgirl Golf Finishes Ninth At Dick McGuire Invitational

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Oklahoma State's Maria Boden shot a two-under 71, moving from 18th to 10th on the final day of the Dick McGuire Invitational here Saturday afternoon. However, Oklahoma State as a team dropped from a tie for eighth to ninth with a final-round score of 913, 33 strokes behind team-champion Arizona.
TCU's Angela Stanford won the individual title, carding a four-under 215 for the tournament, outdistancing the Wildcats' Jenna Daniels by one stroke. OSU true freshmen Christi Cano and Linda Wessberg finished 25th and 37th, respectively, while redshirt freshman JoAnn Heller finished 60th.
Sophomore Emma Zackrisson finished 70th after being in 25th place after the first day, and senior Natasha Rowe finished 44th playing as an individual.
The Cowgirls will next compete in the Big 12/Big 10 Shootout, Oct. 11-12, in Franklin, Ind.
