Women's Golf Moves up Two Spots at UNM Invitational

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Oklahoma State's Cowgirl golf team moved up two spots to eighth place after the second round of the Dick McGuire Invitational here Friday at the UNM Championship Course.
The Cowgirls shot a 312 during the second round, two strokes better than the first day. USC, which was in second place after the first round, shot a 308 and moved into the top spot in a tie with TCU. Texas (616), Tulsa (617) and Washington (619) round out the top five teams.
OSU's Maria Boden remained in fifth place, shooting a three-over-par 76 in round two. TCU's Angela Stanford shot a five-under 68 on the second day to move her into first place.
JoJo Robertson and Natasha Rowe were both tied for 36th place for the Cowgirls with a 158. Freshman Emma Zackrisson was tied for 50th with a 161, and Lotta Stromlid was tied for 57th with a 162. McKenzie Gibson was tied for 90th with a 176, playing as an individual for OSU.
The tournament will conclude on Saturday with a final round of 18 holes.
