Women's Golf Moves into Fifth Place

AUSTIN, Texas - Oklahoma State's Cowgirl golf team moved from eighth to fifth after the second round of the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Classic here Saturday afternoon, cutting 16 strokes off Friday's round.
Oklahoma State is 28 strokes behind North Carolina's 600, the team leader. Furman is second at 616, while Texas (third at 617) and Texas A&M (fourth at 624) round out the top five.
OSU freshman Maria Boden moves up a spot to eighth with a second-round 75 to go with her 76 during the first round. Lotta Stromlid, who is playing as an individual, is tied for 19th with a two-round total of 157, while Anna Lindblom (tied for 23rd with a 158), JoJo Robertson (tied for 26th with a 160), Bresha Marshall (tied for 34th with a 162) and Natasha Rowe (tied for 43rd with a 164) round out the Cowgirl scorers.
UNC's Megan Morgan is the individual leader, shooting a one-over-par 145 after the second round. Anna Becker of Texas A&M is second with a 148, and there is a three-way tie for third at 149.
The tournament will conclude with a final round of 18 holes on Sunday starting at 8 a.m.
