STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State women's golf coach Ann Pitts announced the signing of Sarah Maurer, a senior golfer out of Amarillo, Texas. Maurer joins JoAnn Heller of Sapulpa, Okla., and Emma Zackrisson of Holmsuud, Sweden, as the recruiting class of 1999.

Maurer won the American Junior Golf Association Shangri La Tournament at Grand Lake back in 1995. She was also named honorable mention All-American that season by the AJGA.

Oklahoma State's 10th-ranked golf team will compete in the Big 12 Championships this weekend at the Jimmie Austin Golf Course in Norman, Okla.
