Women's Golf Finishes Third at Utah-Dixie Classic

ST. GEORGE, Utah - In a weather-shortened tournament, Oklahoma State finished third here Tuesday evening at the Jones Sports Utah-Dixie Classic, hosted by Brigham Young University. The Cowgirls had three players finish in the top five individually, including a third-place finish by Lotta Stromlid.
Oklahoma State had the second-lowest round on the day, shooting a 304 for the second round. The Big 12's Missouri had the best round at 303. Five of the top six and seven of the top 10 teams in the tournament were Big 12 schools.
Freshman Maria Boden, who shot a 76 for the first round, cut three strokes off the second day and finished with a five-over-par 149, tying OSU's Anna Lindblom, who shot a 76 on day two to go with her 73 in round one.
Oklahoma State will take two weeks off to prepare for the Big 12 Championships, Apr. 24-26, at the Jimmie Austin Golf Course in Norman, Okla.
