Four Women's Golfers are Named Academic All-Conference

DALLAS - Oklahoma State's women's golf team, ranked 12th in the nation according to the MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings, had four players named to the 1998 Women's Golf Academic All-Big 12 team, it was announced today.
Three golfers were named to the first team, signifying a 3.20 grade point average or higher. The first teamers were: Maria Boden, a freshman from Harnosand, Sweden, majoring in education; Anna Lindblom, a senior from Askim, Sweden, majoring in business; and Natasha Rowe, a sophomore from Tishomingo, Okla., majoring in education. JoJo Robertson, a junior from Roswell, N.M., majoring in education, was named honorable mention.
The Cowgirls will open the first round of the 1998 Big 12 Golf Championships Friday morning at 8 a.m. at the Jimmie Austin Golf Course in Norman, Okla.
