Cowgirls Tied For Third In Preview

STILLWATER, Okla. -- Oklahoma State's Cowgirl golf team is in a tie for third place in the Bama Fall Preview here after Tuesday's first round. The Cowgirls are tied with Arizona State and Tulsa, four strokes behind top-ranked Duke and just one stroke behind USC.
Duke leads the team scoring with a 13-over-par 297, while USC is second with a 300. OSU, Tulsa and Arizona State are all sitting at 301 after the first day, rounding out the top five teams. USC is ranked fifth in the latest edition of the MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings, while Arizona State is third and Tulsa is sixth. Oklahoma State is 13th in the polls.
Individually, Jenny Chuasiriporn and Beth Bauer, both of Duke, are atop the leaderboard, shooting an even-par 71. OSU's JoJo Robertson is tied for ninth with a 74, while Emma Zackrisson and Maria Bodn are both tied for 14th with a 76. Lotta Stromlid is tied for 28th with a 77, while Natasha Rowe rounds out the Cowgirl lineup with an 83.
The Bama Fall Preview will conclude on Wednesday with a final round of 18 holes.
