Cowboys Travel to Shreveport

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's Cowboy tennis team will travel to Shreveport, La. this weekend to play three matches.
The Cowboys (1-5) will face Centenary March 18, Southeast Louisiana March 19, and Northeast Louisiana March 20.
In their last outing, the Cowboys defeated Big 12 rival Colorado 5-0 before falling to Washington, Tulsa, and UNLV in the HEB Invitational in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Junior Rob Howarth will play in the No. 1 slot for the Cowboys. Freshman Matt Prentice will play in the No. 2 hole, and junior Jacques du Toit will play No. 3 singles. Senior Jeremy Ewert, freshman Marc Paulik and freshman Gordon Ryan will round out the order for the Cowboys.
In doubles, Howarth will team up with Prentice. The duo defeated Texas A&M's ranked tandem of Dumitry Caradima and Shuon Madden 9-7 in their first Big 12 conference action of the season. Jacques du Toit and Gordon Ryan will team up at the No. 2 doubles spot, and Jeremy Ewert and Marc Paulik will play No. 3 doubles.
Next week Oklahoma State will travel to Santa Barbara, Calif. to compete in the Santa Barbara Invitational March 25-28.
