LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Oklahoma State's Cowgirl Golf team moved atop the leaderboard after two rounds of the Roadrunner Invitational here Tuesday afternoon. The Cowgirls, who had been in fifth place after the first round, shot the best round of the tournament with a five-over 293.
Junior All-American Maria Boden and freshman Linda Wessberg are tied for third place individually at three-over par, five strokes behind Wyoming's Jordan Lintz, who is two under. Another OSU freshman, Christi Cano, is tied for 10th place at 149.
OSU leads second-place New Mexico, the tournament's host, by two strokes, and leads New Mexico State by three strokes. Washington is in fourth place at 604, while Texas Tech rounds out the top five at 613.
The tournament will conclude on Wednesday with a final round of 18 holes.
