Opened her outdoor campaign at the Stanford Invitational, clocking a time of 4:23.37 in the 1,500 Meters… Set a new personal best in the 1,500 Meters with her mark of 4:20.32 to punch her ticket to the West Prelims… Competed in the 1,500 and 5,000 Meters at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships.

2025 Indoors
Appeared in four meets indoors… Set a new personal best in the 800 Meters at the Razorback Invitational… Two weeks later, broke her Mile PR with her time of 4:46.04 at the Tyson Invitational in Arkansas… At the Big 12 Indoor Championships, O’Connell earned All-Big 12 honors in the 1,000 Meters with her eighth-place finish overall.

2024 Cross Country
Kicked off her cross country season at the Cowboy Jamboree, setting a new 6K cross country personal best of 22:34.6… Also picked up a 13th-place finish at the Weis-Crockett Invitational.

2024 Outdoors
Competed four times for the Cowgirls during her first collegiate outdoor season… Set her personal best in the 1,500 Meters at the Arkansas Twilight with her mark of 4:29.58… Ran at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships in both the Mile and 5K.

2024 Indoors
Appeared at four meets during the indoor season… Placed second in the Mile at the Razorback Invitational with her time of 4:49.43… At the Eagle Elite Invitational in Boston, O’Connell set personal bests in both the Mile and 3K, with times of 4:48.87 and 10:08.09, respectively… Competed at the Big 12 Indoor Championships in both the 1,000 and 3,000 Meters.
