2009-10 (Redshirt Year): Went 2-8 competing exclusively in open tournaments ... Both of his wins came by fall, with the first coming over Oklahoma City's Robert Turrentine in 4:33 at the Oklahoma City Open and the second coming over York College's Andrew Simpson in just 0:36 at the Fort Hays State Open ... In addition to those two tournaments, he also competed at the Central Missouri Open and the Missouri Open.
High School: Attended Easton HS in Easton, Md., where he was coached by Jason Biringer ... A three-time all-district honoree ... Compiled a 142-31 record during his high school career ...
